Moving is emotional. Having just moved to our seventh home in seventeen years, accumulation of STUFF has been on my mind. Packing and unpacking a five member family has made me keenly aware of some things, and inspired this body of work.
*A sentimental personality equals a greater accumulation of stuff.
*What goes into a box, must eventually come out...even if it is 100 years later in preparation for your own estate sale.
*Every empty space in a home will eventually catch something .
*The idea that my children's playroom would be sparsely filled with wooden blocks, handmade boardgames, and absolutely NO plastic toys was beyond unrealistic. (And only occupied my mind space until actually having children.)
*Stuff doesn't make a home, but the stories created with the people inside do.
