Birds are hand made, without the use of molds, of a white earthenware clay that is fired several times in a kiln.

These birds are highly textured using stamps that I create using the soles of my children’s shoes. Each bird has a black wash that highlights this texture.

Each has a permanently installed wire on the back that allows it to be installed directly onto the wall, creating shadow and movement across any wall.

Birds are approximately 6’X3”.
